Advisory Committee on Consumer Engagement
The Advisory Committee on Consumer Engagement reviews and assesses the Agency’s consumer engagement work and provides external challenge to the Executive that they are continuing to 'put the consumer first'. The committee meets two to three times a year and produces an annual report to the Board, which is discussed at an open Board meeting.

Consumer advisory panel
The Consumer advisory panel provides consumer insights into our work by supplementing consumers’ views and opinions obtained from direct engagement. It provides another strand of evidence in the development of policy.

Food and Drink Advertising and Promotion Forum
The Food and Drink Advertising and Promotion Forum aims to address the current imbalance in promotional activity of foods to children. The Forum will consider possible restrictions in the promotion to children of food and drink high in fat, salt and sugar, and will work to identify actions that could promote healthier food choices.

The Nutrition Strategy Steering Group's (NSSG) aim is to help people choose healthier diets by carrying through a range of voluntary nutritional initiatives.

Scientific Advisory Committee on Nutrition (SACN)
The Scientific Advisory Committee on Nutrition is a UK-wide Advisory Committee set up to replace the Committee on Medical Aspects of Food and Nutrition Policy (COMA).
