Transparency data: spending and staff

In line with the Government's transparency commitment the Agency publishes information on the following areas to ensure maximum openness and transparency.

  • pay of senior civil servants
  • departmental organograms
  • spending on goods and services worth £25,000 or more
  • new tender information
  • new information and communications technology contracts
  • details of all new contracts

    The annual report reviews our achievements in each year and provides details of our financial accounts.

    Details of the business expenses of the FSA's Directors, its Chair and Board members.

  • Publication of all GPC transactions

    The Food Standards Agency publishes all Government procurement card (GPC) transactions. This supports the Government's drive for transparency and the Agency's own core value of openness and transparency.

  • Publication of expenditure over £25k

    Supporting the Government's drive for Transparency, the Food Standards Agency (FSA) will be publishing any expenditure over £25,000.

  • Senior staff organogram and pay

    A list of most Senior Civil Service posts in the Food Standards Agency including title, contact details, their line manager, and where disclosed, the name of the officer. Vacant posts are listed as 'Vacant', and posts where the jobholder is not disclosed are listed as 'N/D'. Note that a number of officers are not listed for security reasons.

  • Workforce management information

    The Food Standards Agency is publishing workforce management information in line with the Government's drive for transparency.
