ICT Plan or Investment Strategy
Being Government Agencies we do not have investment strategies or set down ICT Plans as such. We replace/update our IT equipment and software in line with normal industry timescales - e.g. PCs after about four years. The ICT Strategy is effectively business-driven in that should an area of say research require specific equipment and/or resource then the ICT costs are factored in with the project costings.
