Chernobyl restrictions surveys 2005

The 20th anniversary of the Chernobyl incident is on 26 April 2006.
Restrictions on the sale and movement of sheep following the Chernobyl accident remain in certain limited areas of Wales, Scotland and Cumbria. Surveys have been conducted to identify if restrictions could be lifted from any farms within the affected areas. The surveys showed that no farms in Cumbria or Wales can be derestricted this year, however one farm in Scotland has been removed from restrictions.
