Safer food, better business has been adapted for small catering businesses such as restaurants and takeaways that serve either Chinese cuisine or Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi and Sri Lankan cuisines.

Both packs are based on Safer food, better business for caterers, but the safe methods in the Cooking section have been adapted for the appropriate cuisines. The 'Your cleaning schedule' safe method and the 'Safe method completion record' are also different in both. On this page, you can download just those safe methods that are different to SFBB for caterers. Please remember that both the Indian and Chinese packs on this page should be used together with the SFBB for caterers pack which you can find via the link below.

At present, the full-colour versions of both the Chinese and Indian pack are laid out in a user friendly section-by-section format below, which allows you to print only the sections which you need. However, we will be replacing both these packs with a section-by-section version of the print-friendly pack soon.

The print-friendly version contains all the information that can be found in the full-colour version but is easier to print. It also allows you to electronically complete the safe method sections, prior to printing.

A DVD guide has also been produced to help you use your pack and train your staff on SFBB, which is available in 16 different languages. The guide is divided into separate sections for staff or managers, which each take about 15 minutes to watch.
