Britvic Soft Drinks Ltd has recalled two flavours of its Tango carbonated drink due to the possibility of the products containing a naturally-occurring yeast, which might generate a build up of carbon dioxide that could distort or burst the packaging.
Britvic Soft Drinks Ltd has undertaken a product recall of the affected items. Product recall notices have been placed in the national press as from today. These notices will advise customers of the reason for the recall and the actions they can take if they have already purchased the affected product.
The products withdrawn are:
Tango Cherry 330ml can
Best Before End Date; June 2006 and July 2006
Tango Fruit Fling 330ml can
Best Before End Date; June 2006 and July 2006
No other flavours or packaging formats of Tango are known to be affected
