Kallo Foods Ltd withdraws Kallo Socrispy Baked Salt and Vinegar Flavour Soy Bites due to cross contamination with dairy ingredients

Kallo Foods Ltd has withdrawn one batch of Kallo Socrispy Baked Salt and Vinegar Flavour Soy Bites 28g due to cross contamination with dairy ingredients.

The affected batch may contain milk or dairy ingredients and the pack is labelled as dairy free, which makes this product unsafe for individuals who are allergic to or intolerant of these ingredients.

Kallo Foods Ltd has undertaken a full product withdrawal. A media statement was issued and point-of-sale notices have been sent to all Kallo Foods Ltd customers for display in stores. In addition, Kallo Foods Ltd has been in contact with the Anaphylaxis Campaign and Allergy UK, which have informed all of their milk/dairy allergic members of the withdrawal via a mail shot.
