Green & Black's recalls a certain batch code of its 'The Assortment' boxed chocolates due to possible mould contamination

Green & Black's has recalled a certain batch code of its 'The Assortment' boxed chocolates due to water damage during storage resulting in mould growth on the surface of chocolates.

The recall only affects product sold in certain stores within the East Anglia region and the batch has been removed from sale. Product recall notices will appear in the regional press on 13 December 2007 and point-of-sale notices will be displayed in the implicated stores. These notices will advise consumers of the reason for the recall and the actions they can take if they have already purchased the affected product.

The product recalled is:

• Green & Black’s ‘The Assortment’ 200g
• Best before: 04/2008
• Lot code: L52469
