Waitrose has recalled one batch code of its Shortcrust Mince Pies due to the possible presence of pieces of plastic within the product.
Waitrose has recalled the affected batch from sale. Product recall notices have been displayed in all stores as of 12 December. These notices will advise customers of the reason for the recall and the actions they can take if they have already purchased the affected product.

The product recalled is:
- Waitrose Shortcrust Mince Pies packed in boxes of 6
- Production Code: 289* AN1 BB 03 JAN
No other Waitrose products or batch codes are known to be affected.
