Tesco recalls certain batch codes of its wholefood seed mix and wholefood savoury seed mix products due to salmonella contamination

Tesco has recalled certain batch codes of its Wholefood Seed Mix 100g and Wholefood Savoury Seed Mix 100g, due to the presence of salmonella.

Tesco has removed the affected products from sale and issued point-of-sale notices in its stores. These notices will advise customers to contact the Customer Service Desk to find out the reason for the recall and the actions they can take if they have already purchased the affected product.

The products being recalled are:

Batch Code: L7241
Best Before: Jan 08
Batch Code: L7257
Best Before: Feb 08

Tesco Wholefood Savoury Seed Mix 100g
Batch Code: L7283
Best Before: Mar 08
Batch Code: L7293
Best Before: Mar 08
Batch Code: L7274
Best Before: Feb 08

No other Tesco products or batch codes are known to be affected.
