Les Grand Chais de France has recalled Calvet Limited Release Sauvignon Blanc 25cl, due to a bottling fault leading to possible glass contamination. This product is sold exclusively by Sainsbury’s.
Les Grand Chais de France has recalled the affected product and Sainsbury’s is putting up point-of-sale notices in its stores. These notices will advise customers of the recall and the actions they can take if they have already purchased the affected product.
The product recalled is:
- Calvet Limited Release Sauvignon Blanc 25cl
No other Les Grand Chais de France or Sainsbury’s products are known to be affected.

As a precautionary measure this product has been withdrawn from sale due to glass contamination in a small number of bottles.
If you have purchased any of this wine, please return it to your nearest Sainsbury’s store for a full
refund.
No other products are affected by this issue. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
