Heads of environmental health and directors of trading standards will wish to be aware that Wm Morrison Supermarkets Plc has recalled its own brand Cooked Chicken Thins, due to incorrect use by date printed on packaging.
Wm Morrison Supermarket Plc has recalled the affected product. Point-of-sale notices will be displayed at all retail outlets. These notices advise customers of the reason for the recall and the actions they can take if they have already purchased the affected product. A copy of the product recall notice is attached to this food alert. In addition, Wm Morrison Supermarkets Plc will be placing a notice in the national press on 24 May 2008.
The product recalled is:
Morrisons Cooked Chicken Thins
Use By Date: 31 June
Pack Size: 125g
No other Morrisons products are known to be affected.
