Aldreds the Bakers has recalled all date codes of its own-brand luxury muffins up to and including 29 May 2008, due to mould contamination of the custard filling.
Aldreds the Bakers has recalled the affected products. Point-of-sale notices will be displayed at all retail outlets. These notices will advise customers of the reason for the recall and the actions they can take if they have already purchased the affected products.
The products recalled are:
- Luxury Banoffee Muffins
- Luxury Carrot Muffins
- Luxury Chocolate Muffins
- Luxury Lemon Muffins
- Luxury Chocolate and Orange Muffins
- Best before date: all date codes up to and including 29 May 2008
- Pack size: 2 muffins (300g)
