The Co-operative Food has recalled all date codes of its own-brand Mild Chilli Powder, 45g and 90g jars, due to the presence of Salmonella Thompson.
The Co-operative Food has recalled the affected products from sale. Point-of-sale notices have been displayed at all their retail outlets. These notices will alert consumers to the recall and advise them to return the product for a full refund.
The products recalled are:
- Co-op Mild Chilli Powder, 45g
All best before dates
- Co-op Mild Chilli Powder, 90g
All best before dates

Routine testing has found that the above products are not to our usual standard due to possible microbiological contamination. Although there is no risk to health we are taking the precautionary measure of recalling the above products.
Customers who have bought these products should not consume them but should contact our Customer Relations Team for a full refund on Freephone 0800-0686-727.
