Dalepak Foods recalls frozen spicy bean burgers containing under processed kidney beans

Dalepak Foods has recalled three frozen products due to the presence of lectin in under processed kidney beans. Dalepak Foods has contacted all of the retailers stocking the affected product requesting they withdraw the products from sale and display point-of-sale notice in stores. This notice will advise customers of the recall and the actions they can take if they have already purchased the affected product. The company recall notice is included below.
Dalepak Foods intend to place an advert in 10 national newspapers and one local (Belfast Telegraph) paper on 4 October.

We believe that a small proportion of the kidney beans used in the
above batches did not meet our normal high quality standards and
we have therefore withdrawn these items from sale.
Consumers who have purchased these products are asked to return
the product packaging in accordance with the address details given
on the pack and a full refund will be given.
No other codes or products are affected and we apologise for
any inconvenience caused.
