Sainsbury's Supermarket Ltd has recalled a batch of its own-brand chilled Seafood Selection due to incorrect date coding of the product.
Sainsbury's Supermarket Ltd has recalled the affected batch and will be placing recall notices in the national press on 27 September 2008. In addition, product recall notices will be displayed in all stores. These notices alert customers to the recall and advise them of what actions to take if they have purchased the product. The incorrect use-by date applied to the product was 26 October 2008 and it should have been 26 September 2008.
The product recalled is:
Sainsbury’s Ready to Eat Seafood Selection 250g (Product from the Chill Cabinets Only)
Use By: 26 Oct (incorrect code)
