Two batches of the affected product have been labelled with incorrect date codes of 22/12/11 and 23/12/11. The product should have been labelled with a 'use by' date of 05/12/11.

Weights: Between 1.1kg and 2.2kg
Use by dates: 22/12/11 and 23/12/11
Action taken by the company:
The Co-operative Group is recalling the affected batches of British Beef Roasting Joint. Point-of-sale notices will be displayed in store explaining to customers the reason for recall and the actions they can take if they have bought the affected product.
No other Co-operative Group products are known to be affected.
