Aldi Stores recalls all batch codes of its own brand of Today's Special Frozen Beef Lasagne and Today's Special Frozen Spaghetti Bolognese due to the detection of horse meat in the products

Aldi Stores' own testing has confirmed that the meat content of some beef lasagne products and beef bolognese products were found to contain between 30% and 100% horse meat.

Aldi Stores is recalling all affected batches from consumers. A customer information notice is being placed in the national press and point-of-sale notices displayed in all stores. The notice explains the reason for the recall and the actions consumers can take if they have bought the affected product. A copy of the product recall notice and helpline contact details issued by Aldi Stores is attached to this notice.

No other Aldi Stores products are known to be affected.
