Findus UK recalls all batch codes of its own-brand Beef Lasagne due to the detection of horse meat in the product

Findus UK own testing has confirmed that the meat content of some beef lasagne products was found to contain more than 60% horse meat.

Findus UK is recalling all affected batches from consumers. A customer information notice is being placed in the national press and point-of-sale notices displayed in affected stores. The notice explains the reason for the recall and the actions consumers can take if they have bought the affected product. A copy of the product recall notice and helpline contact details issued by Findus UK is attached to this notice.

No other Findus UK products are known to be affected.
