Plum Baby Foods recalls Plum Bread & Butter Pudding due to under-processing and food spoilage

Plum Baby Foods is recalling pouches of its Plum Bread & Butter Pudding with a ‘best before’ date of 15 January 2015. This is due to the product being under-processed, which may cause food spoilage as well as make it potentially unsafe to consume.

Action taken by the company
Plum Baby Foods is recalling the affected batch of product from consumers. Product recall notices will be displayed in stores supplied, and the barcode of the affected products will be blocked. Customers will also be contacted via the homepage on the company website, Twitter and Facebook, explaining why the product has been recalled and the actions they can take if they have bought the affected product.

No other Plum Baby Foods products are known to be affected.
Advice to consumers
If you have bought the above product, do not eat it or feed it to your family. Instead, return the product to the store where you bought it or contact Plum Baby Foods customer helpline on 0800 157 7123.
