Policy Board
The Changes to Local Authority Enforcement (CLAE) Policy Board, chaired by David Statham, Director of Enforcement, provides strategic direction to the CLAE project. Membership includes representatives from FSA Scotland, FSA Wales and FSA Northern Ireland, and external stakeholders.
Terms of Reference
The proposed Terms of Reference for the CLAE Policy Board are:
- to consider the evolution of food law enforcement by local authorities in the light of the Hampton review
- to provide strategic direction to the changes being introduced across the system of enforcement of food law by local authorities
- to receive reports on the progress being made in each of the four review projects: on enforcement policy; on monitoring; on audit arrangements; and on the Framework Agreement
