Local authority initiatives

The Agency has published a list of food-related initiatives run by local authorities, so the public can find out what's happening in their area.

The list includes initiatives such as hygiene awards, healthy eating schemes and registers of food-law convictions, plus contact details for individual local authorities.

This is part of the Agency's commitment to providing consumers with more information about standards in local food businesses.

The Agency will be working with local authorities to ensure that the details on the register are kept up to date.
