Local authority roadshows
The 'roadshows' are a series of meetings held across the UK, to offer local authority colleagues the chance to learn the latest progress on the monitoring system review project, and to raise questions and issues with those involved in the working groups.
Local authority roadshows 2006
A number of roadshows to inform local authority colleagues of the progress of the review of the monitoring system were arranged for May - July 2006. The presentations given at the events are available at the links below.
More information about these roadshows will be made available after the programme has been completed.
Local authority roadshows 2005
The roadshows began with a presentation from the Head of the Monitoring Branch, Geoff Deville. Members of each of the Performance Strategy User Group (PSG) and Monitoring Systems User Group (MSUG) followed with short presentations on their roles. Examples of the presentations made can be found at the links below.
The roadshows were half-day events, with a morning and an afternoon session running at the London and York meetings. These seminars were well attended and gave those attending the opportunity to discuss the current arrangements and put forward ideas on improving things for the future.
