Natural mineral waters

With the help of local authorities, the Food Standards Agency compiles a list of natural mineral waters recognised by the UK.
The aim of the list is to let local enforcement officers know which producers can advertise their product as a natural mineral water and to prevent producers from duplicating names. The Agency plans to update the list whenever it is notified of newly recognised products, withdrawals of recognition or changes in the trade description or the name of the source.
The European Commission has published a consolidated list of all the natural mineral waters recognised by Member States, including third country recognitions, which may be accessed at the EU website.
