Guidance notes on materials and articles in contact with food

These have been prepared to provide information relating to European Regulation (EC) No. 2023/2006 on good manufacturing practice for materials and articles intended to come into contact with food.

A proposal for the Materials and Articles in Contact with Food (England) Regulations 2007 which will implement the European Directive in England are subject to approval by the Minister and enactment by Parliament.
