Ask an FSA expert on Twitter
If you have any burning food safety questions that you’d like to know the answer to, then you’ll have a chance to pose them to one of the FSA’s food safety experts via Twitter.
On Friday 31 August between 1pm and 2pm, the Agency’s Adam Hardgrave will be available to answer questions and will be tweeting facts and tips on food safety.
The tweetchat is timed to coincide with the Paralympics. It is part of the Agency’s Play it Safe campaign, which is raising awareness of the importance of food hygiene and food safety during the London 2012 Games.
You may want to check how long buffets should be displayed without being chilled, find out why you should be careful about re-heated rice, or get the facts about why burgers should be cooked all the way through.
Questions for Adam can be tweeted in live or sent in beforehand on the Play it Safe campaign Twitter feed @playitsafefood using the hashtag #askadam
