Call for tender: emergency exercise contractor
The Food Standards Agency is inviting tenders for an emergency exercise contractor to deliver an incident response capability and emergency exercise programme.
As part of the Food Standards Agency’s review of its major incident plan, since renamed the incident contingency plan, we are seeking to engage an emergency exercise contractor to develop and deliver a programme of exercises from April 2014. These exercises will enable the FSA to rehearse the new incident contingency plan, working in partnership with local authorities, other key government departments, the food industry and other external partners.
The invitation to tender has been published on the FSA's electronic Public Procurement System (ePPS) and also features in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU). Applications are open to all interested suppliers.
