United Biscuits recalls batch of Go Ahead! Figfuls

United Biscuits (UK) Ltd has recalled a batch of its Go Ahead! Figfuls 150g due to a potential microbiological issue associated with the pre-bake glaze.
The Food Standards Agency has issued a Food Alert for Information.
The product being recalled is:
Go Ahead! Figfuls 150g
Best before date: 25 MAR 06
No other United Biscuits (UK) Ltd products are known to be affected.
United Biscuits (UK) Ltd has undertaken a product recall of the affected item and issued product recall notices in the national press on 26 November 2005. In addition, point-of-sale notices will be displayed in stores to notify the public of the recall.
Consumers can return any unopened packs for a full refund to: go ahead! Consumer Response, Consumer Services Department, FREEPOST NAT 4520, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, LE65 1NZ. The helpline number is 0500 011710.
