Regional workshops to improve awareness of food hygiene
Monday 31 October 2005
The Food Standards Agency is developing a new strategy to improving awareness of food hygiene in the home, based on the 4Cs (cleaning, cooking, chilling and avoiding cross-contamination).
The new strategy will concentrate particularly on work with schools and support for local food safety initiatives.
Interested stakeholders are invited to attend one of a series of workshop meetings being held during November and December 2005 at locations around the UK, to inform stakeholders of the Agency's plans and obtain views on how this can be done most effectively.
Dates and locations are given in the invitation below, along with details of how to register for attendance.
