Waitrose recalls a batch of cottage cheese

Waitrose has recalled a batch of its own-brand Natural Cottage Cheese because it could contain small pieces of rubber. The Food Standards Agency has issued a Food Alert for Information.
Waitrose has undertaken a product recall of the affected batch. Product-recall notices have been published in the national press on 3 November 2006. Point-of-sale notices will be displayed in all Waitrose stores telling customers about the reason for the recall and what to do if they have already bought the affected product. There is also a customer service line on 0800 188 884.
