Waitrose recalls two Scottish salmon products

Waitrose has recalled two of their own brand Scottish salmon products, because of contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. The Agency has issued a Food Alert for Information.
The company has recalled the products and is displaying point-of-sale notices in all Waitrose stores to notify the public of the recall. Recall notices will also appear in the national press from today. These notices advise consumers of the reason for the recall and explain that if they have bought the affected products, these can be returned it to the store for a full refund.
No other Waitrose products are known to be affected.

All date codes up to and including 28 August 2007.
