The latest issue of FSA News is published and available online. It contains news of Agency activities, information on savings made to food businesses through Agency cost-cutting initiatives, and a review of 2007 by Agency Chair Deirdre Hutton.
The December/January issue of the newsletter also contains updates on activities in Scotland and Wales and the English regions, details of the latest companies and organisations supporting the Agency’s approach to front-of-pack labelling, and recent consultations, guidance and regulations.
A special science supplement contains a profile of the Advisory Committee on the Microbiological Safety of Food, one of the Agency’s scientific advisory committees, and a review, by Agency Chief Scientist Andrew Wadge, of developments in the Agency’s science over the past 12 months.
The next issue of the newsletter will be published in February.
