Waitrose has withdrawn all affected stock from sale. Point-of-sale notices will be displayed in stores informing affected customers to return the product to Waitrose. The notice advises consumers of the reason for the recall and says they can obtain a full refund if they take the affected prduct back to the store. The Anaphylaxis Campaign and Allergy UK will be contacted to put a notice on their websites.

Sometimes foods have to be withdrawn or recalled if there is a risk to consumers because the allergy labelling is missing or incorrect or if there is any other food allergy risk.
