Third update on salmonella outbreak

The Agency has today confirmed that products implicated in the recent outbreak of Salmonella Agona and distributed to the UK from Ireland have been withdrawn from sale.
Following the outbreak of Salmonella Agona in Ireland and the UK, Dawn Farm Foods, based in the Republic of Ireland, has taken the precautionary measure of withdrawing a number of products from sale. Some of these were known to have been distributed to the UK and the Agency’s investigation has now concluded that they have been withdrawn from the UK market.
The investigation into the outbreak is continuing. A full list of products withdrawn by Dawn Farm Foods has been published on the website of the Food Safety Authority of Ireland (see link below).
