Open meeting of Welsh Food Advisory Committee

The next meeting of the new Welsh Food Advisory Comitteee will be at FSA Wales, Southgate House, Wood Street, Cardiff on 10 September.
Members of the public are invited to attend, share views and ask questions at one of the regular open meetings of the Welsh Food Advisory Committee of the FSA in Wales.
During the business meeting, there will be an update given on the current UK position in respect of BSE (Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy) and TSE (Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopathies), including proposals, at EU level, to lift the age threshold for BSE testing of bovines from 30 months, prior to the FSA Board's consideration of the issue later in the year. Anyone with an interest in either this field or the general work of FSA Wales is invited to attend this meeting, to share their views on issues that matter to them, and to participate in an open question and answer session.
The meeting will be run from 1pm - 4:30pm.
