Open Meeting of Welsh Food Advisory Committee: 13 January 2009

As part of its regular open sessions, the Welsh Food Advisory Committee (WFAC) of Food Standards Agency Wales is holding an open meeting in Cardiff on Tuesday 13 January 2009 from 9.15am to 1pm.
The meeting will open with a themed discussion on the health issues connected with a poor diet. There will be a review of FSA Wales' work on dietary health initiatives. Representatives from the Welsh Assembly Government will give an update on food in schools, and the session will conclude with a presentation on FSA Wales' school-based interactive resources.
Anyone with an interest in this area, or the general work of FSA Wales, is invited to attend this meeting, to share their views on issues that matter to them, and to participate in an open question and answer session.
