Contractors sought for Welsh translation

The Food Standards Agency is seeking a number of suppliers to carry out written translation from English into Welsh, to assist the Agency in meeting its commitment to Welsh language provision.
The contractors will be responsible for providing high quality, professional and accurate written translations from English into Welsh of a wide range of different types of documents.
The Agency aims to establish three-year framework agreements (with the possibility of extension) to cover the contracts, starting in November 2008.
Potential contractors are asked to:
- demonstrate financial and economic standing
- demonstrate relevant experience and qualifications (where appropriate) to carry out professional and accurate written translation services (from English into Welsh)
- complete and return a questionnaire by midday, 1 September 2008
