What does science mean to you?
Friday 26 September 2008
The Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills (DIUS) is asking for feedback on their strategy for science and society in the UK.
The strategy is centred around the vision of a society that is excited by science; values its importance; feels confident in its use and supports a representative well-qualified scientific workforce. It covers important questions and talks about the challenges for the science and policy community today and in the future.
The DIUS is inviting all sectors of society, science and policy to answer the questions that the strategy puts forward and will be using this feedback to draw up an action plan in 2009. The deadline for responses is 17 October 2008.
