DR IAN REYNOLDS became an FSA Board Member in April 2006 and was appointed Deputy Chair in February 2007 and Chair of the Meat Hygiene Service Board in July 2007. Before joining the FSA, Ian spent most of his career in health care, leading organisations in both the public and the private sectors as Chief Executive, including Nottingham Health Authority and then Priory Hospitals Group. He is self-employed and a Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine.
