Sainsbury’s withdraws a batch of Sainsbury’s Mandarin Jelly individual chilled pots due to incorrect labelling resulting in the presence of undeclared allergens
Allergens: Milk, egg and gluten (wheat)
Sainsbury’s Mandarin Jelly 172g
Due to a packing error, a small number of packs contain Mandarin Royale (a dessert with layers of sponge, jelly and topped with cream), instead of Mandarin Jelly. Therefore the product contains milk, egg and gluten (wheat) which are not declared on the label. This makes the product a potential health risk for people who are allergic or intolerant to these allergens.

Notices will be displayed in all stores to alert consumers to the reasons for the withdrawal, and the actions they can take if they have purchased the product. A copy of the notice is attached to this allergy alert.
No other Sainsbury’s products are known to be affected
