Sainsbury’s withdraws a batch of Sainsbury’s Mandarin Jelly individual chilled pots due to incorrect labelling resulting in the presence of undeclared allergens
Allergens: Milk, egg and gluten (wheat)
Ref I-2010
Product
Sainsbury’s Mandarin Jelly 172g
Risk
Due to a packing error, a small number of packs contain Mandarin Royale (a dessert with layers of sponge, jelly and topped with cream), instead of Mandarin Jelly. Therefore the product contains milk, egg and gluten (wheat) which are not declared on the label. This makes the product a potential health risk for people who are allergic or intolerant to these allergens.
