Frozen Value withdraws additional ice cream products due to errors in labelling

Risk:
The allergens for the products listed below have not correctly been transposed on the advisory allergen labeling, therefore resulting in incorrect allergen information. This poses a risk to those with an allergy or sensitivity to peanuts, other nuts and sulphites.

The following five ice cream products are being withdrawn, in addition to the product mentioned in Allergy Alert BB/2012:

Action taken by the Company:
The company has withdrawn all affected stock and recalled from customers with an allergy or intolerance to peanuts, nuts or sulphites.
Customer notices will be displayed in stores to alert consumers to the reasons for the withdrawal and the actions they can take if they have purchased the product(s).
An updated copy of the customer notice issued by Frozen Value Foods Ltd is attached to this alert. In addition, the company will be contacting the relevant allergy support organisations who will inform their at-risk members of the withdrawal.
The products will be over-stickered with the correct information and placed back on sale.
