Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd withdraws all date codes of its own brand Ground Almonds due to undeclared traces of peanut
The product contains traces of peanut, which have not been declared on the label. This means the product is a possible health risk to anyone with an allergy to peanuts.

Action taken by the company
The company has withdrawn the above products from sale. Customer notices have been displayed in stores to alert consumers to the reasons for the withdrawal and to explain the actions they can take if they have purchased these products. A copy of the point-of-sale notice is attached to this alert. In addition, the supplier to Sainsbury's has contacted the relevant allergy support organisations, which will inform their at-risk members of the withdrawal.
No other Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd products are known to be affected
Advice to consumers
Customers with an allergy to peanuts are advised not to eat these products but to return them to the nearest Sainsbury's store for a full refund.
