Action taken by the company
The company has withdrawn any remaining product of the affected batch code from sale. All future production of this product will be relabelled to convey information on the risk of possible cross contamination with milk. In addition, the company has contacted the relevant allergy support organisations which will inform their at risk members of the withdrawal.
No other Whitakers Chocolates Ltd products are known to be affected.
