Action taken by the company
Asda has withdrawn the affected batch from sale. Point-of-sale notices have been displayed in stores informing customers to the reasons for the withdrawal and the actions they should take if they have purchased the affected product. In addition, Asda has contacted the relevant allergy support organisations, which will inform their at-risk members of the withdrawal. A copy of the point of sale notice issued by Asda is attached below.
No other Asda products are known to be affected
