The above product contains anchovies and sulphites as ingredients which are not declared on the label, resulting in incorrect allergen information. The product is, therefore, a potential health risk for individuals with an allergy to fish or sensitivity to sulphites.

Action taken by the company
Marks & Spencer has withdrawn the affected batch from sale. In addition, Marks & Spencer has contacted the relevant allergy support organisations, which will inform their at-risk members of the withdrawal. Marks & Spencer has also published details (which can be found at the link towards the end of this page) of the withdrawal on its website.
No other Marks & Spencer products are known to be affected.
Advice to consumers
Customers with an allergy to fish or those sensitive to sulphites are advised not to eat this product.
