Waitrose Ltd recalls Waitrose Wholesome 10 Bean Mix 500g due to the presence of undeclared gluten and barley

Due to a packaging error some packs of this product may contain pulses, rice, and barley (a source of gluten). This makes the product a potential risk for people who have a gluten intolerance or those that are sensitive to barley.

Waitrose Ltd has recalled the affected batch code from sale and has contacted the relevant allergy support organisations, which will inform their at-risk members of the recall. Notices are being displayed in all stores to alert consumers to the reasons for the recall and the actions they can take if they have purchased the product.

No other Waitrose products are known to be affected.

Customers who have a gluten intolerance or those that are sensitive to barley are advised not to eat this product.
