Some packs of Sainsbury's SO Organic Pumpkin & Sweet Red Pepper Soup actually contain SO Organic Mushroom & Celeriac Soup. The presence of celeriac and celery in this soup is not declared on the packaging and therefore may be a potential risk to health for people allergic to celery.

Action taken by the company
The company has withdrawn the affected date code and has contacted the relevant allergy support organisations, which will inform their at risk members of the withdrawal. Notices are being displayed in all stores to alert consumers to the reasons for the withdrawal, and the actions they can take if they have purchased the product.
No other Sainsbury’s Supermarkets Ltd products are known to be affected.
Advice to consumers
Customers with an allergy to celery are advised not eat the product.

Customers with a celery allergy are advised not to eat this product as a small numbers of packs may contain a Celeriac and Mushroom soup which includes celery and celeriac as ingredients.
If you have purchased this product and are at all concerned, please bring it back for a full refund.
Please note that this product is safe for those who are not allergic to celery or celeriac.
