Some packs of the above product may contain components intended for a different ready meal. As a result some of these products contain fish, shellfish, milk and peanuts, which are not declared on the label. The product is, therefore, a potential health risk for individuals who are allergic and/or intolerant to the aforementioned allergens.

Action taken by the company:
Waitrose Ltd has recalled the affected date codes. In addition, the company has contacted the relevant allergy support organisations, which will inform their at risk members of the recall. Notices have been displayed in all stores to alert consumers to the reasons for the recall, and the actions they can take if they have purchased the product. A copy of the point of sale notice issued by Waitrose Ltd is attached to this alert.
No other Waitrose Ltd products are known to be affected.
Advice to consumers:
Customers who are allergic and/or intolerant to fish, shellfish, milk and peanuts are advised not to eat this product.
