The Food Standards Agency’s Microbiological Safety Division’s Microbiological Risk Assessment research programme (B12) was reviewed on the 21st – 22nd March 2007 at the Copthorne Hotel, Reading.

Objectives
- to facilitate and conclude independent expert evaluation of individual projects and the FSA’s overall programme on microbiological risk assessment, especially programme B12, and
- to inform stakeholders of the results of the microbiological risk assessment work funded by the FSA to date; and to seek ideas and input to inform future developments in this area of scientific research and FSA policy.
