N09020: Evaluation of snacking behaviour in children and adolescents: associations with body composition, physical activity and risk of obesity
Using a cohort of 100, this study will assess the impact of snacking on changes in fat mass over an 8-year period (from age 7 to age 15). It will examine snacking behaviour (including frequency, food type and portion size); associations between snacking, activity (e.g. TV viewing etc); as well as the relationship between snacking patterns and parental determinants.
